Never Miss Threads To Embroider Your Dreams

Never miss threads to embroider your dreams

Maturity has taught me what my priorities are. Now I can pick up the threads of my life with more courage and integrity. Because, this time I’m going to use the colored threads to weave an existence that is much stronger, more dignified and more colorful. One that reflects my dreams.

Often, and without a fixed age for it, there comes a time when we make an overview of the “vital tissues” we have built up to that point. Suddenly we realize that it is a profound problem. Between what we are and what we do: we do not like any of it, and none of it gives us happiness.

Our paths in life sometimes constitute intricate labyrinths of frustrations, fears and mental blockages. And sometimes we get permanently caught up in these. We lose the colorful threads that embroidered our dreams and desires in the past. That is when uncertainty arises, and together with the fear that can eat and weaken you…

Is this life that will always await me? Have all my trains of opportunity already departed from me?

Trains go nowhere

The Senoians, the translators of dreams

The Senoians are a Malaysian tribe that has always been hugely interesting to anthropologists, psychologists and sociologists. One of the customs they have maintained since antiquity is to gather every morning as a family to talk about the dreams and nightmares they have experienced through the night.

Far from giving a halo of magic or spirituality to this custom, what the Senoians intend to do is understand the needs of each  family member through these dreams. To carefully analyze what each family member explains, this trunk climbs onto the bamboo huts to stay away from the ground. Away from the “physical world” .

The wonderful thing about this practice is that the Seno tribe is an incredibly happy, social group, according to studies conducted by several experts. These cleansing gatherings allow them to “pick up” the threads of their reality in order to become better acquainted with themselves. In this city there are no acts of violence, and no one suffers from mental illness.

It would no doubt be interesting to know what techniques the Seno tribe uses to meet the fears that are usually reflected in our dreams. If you wish, there are some very interesting books available, such as “Senoi Dream Therapy: Myth, Scientific Method, and the Dreamwork” by psychologist William Domhoff.

Nevertheless, the following points are some short examples of their way of handling things:

  • Every threat that appears in a dream or a nightmare is a reality that we should recognize and manage.
  • Our dreams and goals can be found behind the “monster” or the blurry “shadow” in our dreams. You should know how to beat it to find new paths to follow.
  • If you dream of falling down a mountain or through a hole, these images are associated with anxiety. You should visualize for two days that at the bottom of at least a soft and maintained meadow of flowers awaits .
  • Another piece of advice from the Seno tribe is the following:  When we dream and are aware of it (clear dreams), we should strive to make friends, to create connections of love.

To restore the threads that embroider our dreams

We are often overwhelmed by uncertainty and anxiety about what we want to be and who we are now. In these moments, there is only one alternative: change. Now it’s not about creating sudden change, because “vital tsunamis” do not always guarantee success.

It’s more about letting yourself float while at the same time giving way to small changes, new paths, new people, new thoughts. All this suddenly gives us new colors on the  thread  we can use to embroider these dreams. Dreams we had before, which we downgraded for whatever reason.

Steps to initiate change and achieve your personal goals

In order to generate a change, no matter how small, we are forced to accept that we will go through a moment of crisis. These are the threads that offer resistance. They persist, and they are stamped into our skin, trying to prevent us from taking the step we need.

  • Do not be afraid of the pain that comes with detachment. There are some threads that need to be cut because they no longer maintain much weight. We have to let go of them to find other, much more beautiful threads to embroider our dreams with. Better projects.
  • Pay attention to your intuition. This dimension that is directly related to our emotions and unconsciousness The Seno tribe knew how to interpret so well. It whispers truths that we do not always listen to.
  • We should be very aware of what we want for ourselves. If you want peace, let go of those who are bothering you. If you want love, start loving yourself. Work with self-confidence if it is recognition you are seeking. And if you want freedom, look for the key to your links.

The threads that embroider our dreams are waiting for us right now in any corner. They wait in the smile of the people we know, and even the strangers we meet. Because, believe it or not, there are still many platforms that receive trains with our names on them. And because it is never a good idea to let small minds convince us that our dreams are too big.
